The Allegrettos are Boston University’s all-gender a cappella group. Founded in 1994, the group records music and competes in competitions such as the ICCAs. The Allegrettos have had the privilege of performing in many places including Boston, New York, Connecticut, and the White House! We sing a variety of genres including alternative-pop, gospel, r&b, and pop. In 2024, the Allegrettos advanced to the Semifinals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), earning Outstanding Soloist and Outstanding Cheoreography. In 2026, the Allegrettos, again, advanced to the Semifinals of the ICCA, earning Outstanding Soloist. Passionate about recording and sharing their artistry, the group has released a growing catalog of EPs and albums—available on all streaming platforms.
